Cancellation Policy

COVID-19 Safety Information

For all in-person classes, unless otherwise noted on the “Info for Attendees” page for specific dates, Somatic Practice will observe the following safety measures:

  • We will abide by local health guidelines. Please be prepared for any mandates, which have at times been extensive, and could change at any time.
  • Students are encouraged to wear masks in the public areas of the training site and during practice sessions when community infection rates for flu, COVID, or other airborne illnesses warrant it.
  • Students may opt out of touch practices during the training sessions.
  • We recommend that students take a COVID test prior to arrival, and on Day 2 of the training.
  • Please do not come to class if you have symptoms of flu, COVID, or other infectious illnesses, or if your COVID test is positive. (In those cases we will transfer your registration to a future training if possible, or refund your tuition if a future date is not possible.)

Deposits

A deposit of $150.00 is required at the time of registration to hold space in a training.

For all multi-module classes, this deposit is required only for Module 1, and holds your space for all subsequent modules. Deposits are encouraged but NOT required for subsequent modules.

EXCEPTIONS: Deposits are not required for Consultation Groups, Experiential Groups, or Graduate Classes for which payment in full is required at the time of registration.

Refunds, Transfers, and Cancellations

Full refunds will be given if an applicant is denied acceptance into a training for any reason.

Full refunds will be given if a training is canceled by Stephen j Terrell, LLC.

Students canceling prior to early registration deadline will receive a full refund of payment less a $150 administrative fee.

Students canceling after the early registration deadline or within 30 days of program beginning will forfeit the full tuition amount.

No refund will be issued after video lectures are made available for classes.

No refund will be issued for no-shows

Partial refunds are not awarded for those who miss portions of the live training.

Students may choose to transfer to another site for a $100 administrative fee prior to early registration deadline.  This transfer is good for up to 18 months from date class was scheduled to start.

Payment Due Dates

For multi-module trainings, Early Registration ends 30 days before the start of the module. For single classes, Early Registration ends 30 days before the first day of the class.

Full tuition payment is due by the Early Registration deadline in order to qualify for this discount. Regular Registration rates take effect after Early Registration ends, even if the student has previously paid a deposit to hold their space.

Final payment is due 14 days before the start of the module or class. After this date, website registration will close, and new registrations will be accepted only by arrangement. Students who wish to register after the final payment deadline should contact us for assistance.

Reminders and Notifications

Students on waiting lists will receive periodic updates via email, and be encouraged to withdraw from waiting lists if they know they will not register for a class if invited.

Invitations to join a class from the waiting list will be sent automatically via email when space becomes available. Invited students will have two business days to register or make arrangements to hold the available space. After two business days, the space will be offered to the next student on the list.

Students who are registered for a class will receive reminders at the approach of the Early Registration deadline, video recording distribution date (if applicable), and the 14-day Final Payment deadline.

Students are responsible for checking their email, including spam folders, for these reminders and notifications.
